Digibind binds and inactivates digoxin. Measuring se-digoxin after administering Digibind (by standard measuring methods) is misleading as Digibind interferes with digitalis immunoassay measurements. The effect of Digibind must be estimated on the basis of the disappearance of the patient's symptoms and cardiac abnormalities.
